<p>Started with a good cup of joe with some soy creamer:</p>

<p>Did a couple loads of laundry.</p>
<p>And then had all intentions to go for a run but it was SO windy and I felt so achy and tight from this weeks workouts.</p>
<p>If there is one thing I have learned from years of working out, when you feel tight and achy-<em>practice yoga</em>.</p>
<p><strong>Welcome to my Yoga Studio </strong> <img src='http://fitandfortysomething.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><a href="http://fitandfortysomething.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/img_2288.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1323" title="IMG_2288" src="http://fitandfortysomething.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/img_2288.jpg" alt="" width="467" height="351" /></a>I did a 45 minute <strong>Solar Vinyasa Flow</strong> class from <strong>Yoga Download.</strong></p>
<p>My body was thanking me the whole time.  By the time I got to Savasana, I felt like I had a massage.  Love that!</p>
<p>After yoga, I got to have <span style="color:#ff9900;">Oats in a Jar</span>!</p>
<p>I never get to make this because it seems I never have an almost empty jar of almond butter:</p>

<p>Bill just got home from a VERY long ride and we had some pizza for lunch.</p>
<p>Never tried this and loved it!  Definitely a keeper for the frozen and healthy pizza category:</p>

<p>I bet my mom would not believe it.  She had to drag me out of bed numerous times in my teens at 11am.</p>
<p>But yes, now in my elder years I realize <em>I am a morning person.</em></p>
<ul>
<li>I think better in the morning.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>I enjoy working out first thing in the morning.</li>
</ul>
<p>I just feel more &#8220;clear.&#8221;</p>
<p>By the afternoon, I have a hard time putting a coherent sentence together. And I definitely do not want to work out or write that long-lost novel!</p>
<p>I would much prefer just pouring myself a glass of wine and making dinner.</p>
<h3>What about you?  When are you at your best?  Morning, afternoon, or evening?</h3>
<p>Speaking of evening.</p>
<p>This recipe was my motivation last night:</p>

<p>I love drinking coffee with soy creamer in bed while catching up on blogs.</p>
<p>Then Pepsi and I ventured out for our <em>second</em> run this week.  I am so proud of us.  I owe some of my motivation to my blog friends for sure!  All of you and specifically <a href="http://accordingtoberni.wordpress.com/">Berni </a>and <a href="http://mariposagirl.wordpress.com/">Mariposa Girl!</a>  Berni is running a half this weekend-I hope to do one in the near future.  It has been too long since I ran a half.</p>
<p>Then I donned my runners (again) and walked to work. Love it! It is such a stress relief and a good time to catch up with friends.</p>

<p>Between 5th and 6th period I ate one of my homemade vegan energy bars.</p>
<p>I hope to make some sautéed vegetables of some sort for dinner.  Not exactly sure what is on the menu just yet.</p>
<p>I am off to the <a href="http://metalmtncycling.com/bikeshop/">bike shop</a>.  &#8220;Tabitha&#8221; (my bike) needs some TLC.</p>
<p>The end is near-tomorrow is Friday!</p>
<p>Super happy for the weekend. </p>
<p>I hope to get a pedicure-it has been too long. </p>
<p>We are also meeting friends at our favorite wine bar Saturday night.  Not sure what else is going on but so far it looks good.</p>

<p>I think just knowing I was in for yet another training in a flourescent lit room made it tough to get going for the day. </p>

<p>I know sitting all day is hard for everyone but I think it is especially hard for teachers.  We are so used to moving around all day.  The thought of sitting for another day was making me crazy!</p>
<p>Anyway, on days like this when I know they are going to provide breakfast and lunch I always bring my own snacks just in case. </p>

<p>I was very &#8220;snacky&#8221;  all day due to boredom.</p>

<p>Lunch was served at noon and they provided us with various subway sandwich boxes.  The boxes contained a sandwich, chips, and cookie.</p>
<p>I chose the veggie sandwich.  There were not many veggies on it! I did not eat the chips or cookie.</p>
