Almost Perfect

It has been an almost perfect start to my summer vacation.

Last night I welcomed the vacation with dinner and wine with Khrystle and Sara.

And woke up without an alarm, drank coffee, and went on a lovely run.

Then had a relaxing lunch with Ruth and the dogs at Cafe Nouveau.  I love Cafe Nouveau because you can bring your pups with you and they have a fabulous menu.

Yes the dogs were with us:

Had a great salad made with turkey, cheese, cranberries and pecans with a balsamic dressing:

YUM!

I will miss Ruth because she will be in Hawaii with her hubby all summer!

Then I took a long nap…….Oh I needed it!

Tonight Bill and I are enjoying a bit of this and relaxing:

Hope you are enjoying yourself and hope you have some wonderful summer plans for the weekend.

I am gonna ride on Saturday and go see Dad on Sunday.

Rock it Old School

Last night we made up a big pile of green beans with olive oil, sea salt, pepper,  and pumpkin seeds:

Which we paired with a delicious salad filled with spring mix, radishes,tuna, shredded parmesan cheese, raisins, and more pumpkin seeds:

It was quite good.

We watched a few episodes of Californication on Netflix.  Any one else a fan?

And then it was time to pick a winner for the Thermal Hoodie!

We decided to Rock it Old School :)

Filled out raffle tickets with everyone’s name on it and put into a bowl:

My assistant mixed them up really good:

Then picked the ticket:

Madeline from Greens and Jeans won :) !

She said she could wear the Hoodie with Yoga pants to work-CUTE!

Today I am looking forward to my first speed workout with Khrystle.  We are meeting this afternoon.  I am still a bit sore from our strength training sesh so we shall see…………
