Meet Braeden

Today could have been called the Perfect Day :)

We ditched all necessary chores and instead did what made us happy.

I got in a beautiful ride along the coast:

There were lots of surfers out:

And Jack came along:

Jack and I  caught up while riding and stopped along the way to take it all in:

Just a perfect ride!

Afterwards Bill and I met up :)

We walked downtown for a beer and lunch:

We were fortunate enough to get to Doggie sit a special guy today……

Please Meet Braeden!

He quite possibly could be the handsomest Lab I have ever seen ;)

And the sweetest!

Hope you are having a great weekend too filled with lots of fun and not many “to-do’s”

:)

One Thing I Love About Blogging

Good Monday Morning Friends!

I apologize for not blogging yesterday.  I honestly do not think I have EVER taken a day off from blogging since I started on January 1, 2010.  I also apologize for being MIA from your blogs as well.  Unfortunately, I think I may not be able to catch up on yours until later today at the earliest.

Honestly I have something going on today that is taking up some of my time and energy and I have had to stay off the computer in order to focus on it.  I will tell you more about it after today :)

One of the things I LOVE about blogging is that people/companies WANT to give you things to try out so you can talk about them on your blog.

I was lucky enough to try some amazing things as of late that I had never heard of and never tried before.

Please allow me to share these amazing bars:

Now I know I have talked about/eaten/reviewed a lot of bars.  But these bars are different because they REALLY taste like you just whipped them up in your kitchen.  SERIOUSLY!  Also, they do not have a long shelf life-6 weeks is the limit and that makes me think they are closer to homemade then most.  They are called Jump Starter Body Fuel Bars and you can either order off the website or if you live in town you can get them at Metal Mountain Bike Shop.

Bill and I were so excited to try these. We decided to try the chocolate raisin one first:

Here are the stats:

Pretty good huh?

Nothing tastes processed about this bar.

It tasted amazing.  You could really taste the oats and all the different flavors.

Last night I also had the apricot one and it was delicious as well.

Well just wanted to share!

Hope you have a great Monday planned.  I look forward to catching up with you later :)

Make it a great day.
