Shopping and drinks

No running for me today.

Too tired.  All those hills have just about killed me.

So instead we went shopping.

Let me tell you I am not a shopper.   I definitely have to be in the mood.

The cool thing is we don’t have to drive here.  Shopping is right around the corner.

Lulu hurry up and open. Well actually don’t.  My wallet can’t take it.

Lot of fun little shops too.  Is that Pepsi?

We took a break in the action to soak up some alcohol sun.

Thankfully I had a successful shopping spree and managed to score some good deals on work clothes at Banana and The Loft.

Where do you buy your work clothes?

Ta ta tamer

For pretty much of my whole life I have used 5-20 dollar sports bras.  In fact, I rarely put much thought into a sports bra.  If Old Navy had them on sale for 5 bucks I would buy them, if Target had a clearance I would buy the cheapest one.

But times have changed.  Granted I still have somewhat small breasts, but with age I have noticed a bit of sagging.  Oh jeez can’t believe I am telling the world-wide web! But it is true.  Things have changed for the girls and I have realized I need to put more thought and support into my sports bra.

So I have been spending sometime doing my research.  My research focused on the best sports bras for woman who run and woman who are a C or D cup.

The one bra that kept on coming up was Lululemon’s Ta Ta Tamer.

Love the name!

It is not cheap though.  It costs a whopping $58.00.

I kept looking at it online.  And kept wearing my cheap bras.  And finally I bit the bullet.  I just had to see if it was all it was cracked up to be.

So far I have taken it for 3 runs.  One trail and two road runs and I have to say it rocks!  You do not move in this baby.

It is also fairly comfortable.

I like that the straps stay in place.

It fits, sizes and adjusts more like a regular bra.

The one negative review I kept reading over and over again was the inability for the straps to cross in back.  Lululemon says you can do a cross back but most people said the straps were not long enough for this to work.  I have found that not to be true.

I was able to cross them and was able to wear with a top over the bra without being able to see the straps.

Granted it was a bit snug but still works well.

Overall I am very happy with this bra so much so that I threw the other cheap ones in the trash and just ordered another Ta Ta Tamer.

What is your favorite sports bra?

Have you tried the Tamer?
