Happiness Comes in Forms

Hello Friends!

Gosh it has been so long since I last blogged though I think about it all the time.  I really appreciate all of the people who keep encouraging me to continue my blog and I will try that is for sure.  Life has just been so busy!

Today I was inspired to write because as I was running I was thinking of how happy I have felt as of late.  I wanted to share my happiness with you and of course catch you up on some of our shenanigans :)

First of all I LOVE my new job.  Most of you who have been reading my blog know that I have been a school teacher for a long time and only some of you know I was trying to leave teaching to become an administrator (assistant principal, dean, or principal).  Well my  new job is Dean of Students for a High School and even though I am working much longer hours-I LOVE IT!  Happiness comes in surprising places that is for sure.

Secondly, I must share how happy I have been since Bill has been racing 5K’s with me.  We have been having fun motivating each other and planning races together.

Happiness can also come in material forms for sure, and I am loving my new car.  His name is Silver and he is fast ;)

Of course happiness is spending times with friends and eating great meals which I have been doing a lot of lately as well :)

Last weekend Bill and I shared a Melting Pot meal with Ashley:

And last night we had a fabulous meal with Carol and Jack-can you say Filet Mignon Chicken Fried steak?  Oh yes I did and I ate the whole thing!

Happiness is also abound with Daley Dog Walking-our side business.  It has gotten so busy that we hired two girls on to help us.  Check them out-they are so cute :)

Here we all are-the dog walking gang!

And lastly, happiness to me is making an offer on this house which is only about 1/2 mile from the beach.

Who knows if the bank will accept our offer-it is a short sale-but I feel happy and fortunate just to have the opportunity to make an offer in these times.

Life is good friends!  I hope you have had happiness around you as well lately.  I truly believe that life is short and we must enjoy every wonderful, busy moment.

Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy friends!
