Family

This year we decided to celebrate Christmas as a family on Christmas Eve.

My sis was the head chef.

There was lots of drinks to be had.

Lots of family photos.

My sis managed to pull together quite the vegan feast for us and added in a cooked turkey for the meat eaters of the group.

My plate had a yam, various roasted squash, okra in a tomato sauce, and amazing vegan tamales that I had a friend make for us (they were filled with chilis and daiya cheese)

No missing meat with all of those goodies.

And then we had some delicious Xmas cookies which I am quite sure were not vegan  but worth every bite.

It was a quite a wonderful day with family!

Now Bill and I are planning our own Christmas day shenanigans.

I am quite sure there will be a bike ride and a run and then we shall see…….
