Run time and pool time

This morning, I was not feeling as spry as yesterday (my legs felt those 10 miles) but after walking Pepsi I knew it was either go now or never.

I left the house and got back on the trails.

Let me tell you, nothing invigorates me as much as trail running.

After about 3 miles I started to feel so much better.

I ended up covering 6 miles door to door.

And then it was pool time.

Nothing says vacation like sitting by the pool with a good book on the kindle.

Right now I am reading How To Love An American Man.  It is good.

We are cooking in tonight.  So fun because Linda and Tom are coming over and they are Vegans.

Can you guess what we are making?

  1. Um wow – good job. After a 10 miler day the next day is always low-key on the legs for me. Very impressed! Can’t wait to see your menu!

    Something with kale and tempeh?

  3. Hi Kalli. I’m just catching up on your last couple of posts. Looks fantastic! That pool looks very, very appealing!!! :) I bet kale is on the menu!!! (I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to massaged kale and nutritional yeast. I’m addicted to both and think of you every time I have it!!) Take care!

I LOVE trail running. There is something about a terrain that is always keeping me guessing that just makes the miles fly by!
