Urban walk

Usually Bill and I do a 2 mile walk after dinner that takes us into the hills but lately we have been staying downtown and enjoying the hustle and bustle.

This walk takes us about 2 miles as well but we end up meandering through downtown.

I know I have said this before, but I just love walking in the evenings.  It feels so good to get up off the couch after dinner and walk.

Great time to catch up with Bill and talk about our day or to discuss future plans.

It also feels good to shake the legs out from a long day in heels and to help digest dinner.

Love this tree!  It has such an incredible smell to it.

Do you enjoy walking?  Do you get to do it as much as you would like?

I love walking – my dog used to be my walking buddy, but now he’s too old. The last time I took him on 2 mile walk I had to pick him up to get him in the car, he didn’t have the energy!

That tree is sooooo cool. There is nothing like that on the East Coast!

My husband and I used to walk a lot together after dinner – before we had kids and when the kids were little. Now that they are grade-school age, it’s hard because there is homework and schedules are busier. I miss it!

I get some walks in at lunchtime with a co-worker.

  4. HI Kalli. I LOVE going for walks. So fun. That tree is amazing! What is it? Awww…no doubt it breaks your heart that Pepsi can’t go with you anymore. Don’t you wish you could just stop the pet clock??? sigh. Have a GREAT Tuesday!!!

  6. That tree looks amazing. I love walking outdoors. The nature walk is always relaxing but the urban walks are always so much more entertaining. I can almost smell that tree. I remember passing one once on a bike ride and i could smell it 20 yards away. I walked to the park with the kids today it was perfect for everyone. I love walking. Glad i found your site. – Krystal

I love walking when the weather’s good…I don’t get out and walk often enough…of course once it’s really cold, I don’t want to step outside!

I love to walk! Whenever we have the time Colin and I walk around our city. I love when we have no where in particular to go and just get to wander.

  9. love it! Don’t get enough time to do it. Sometimes I only get a shot to do 30 mins on my lunch break once a week.

Between work and sleep there aren’t enough hours in the day to walk as much as I would like. That’s what fall weekends were made for.
