Bill continually amazes me in the kitchen.
And last night was no exception. I looked at him when we got home from work and asked him nicely if he would make dinner with the slim pickins we had in the refrig and pantry. My only request was that he use the gluten-free fettucine we had on hand.
He came up with an amazing, creamy alfredo-like sauce within minutes. But this sauce is guilt free unlike real alfredo sauces.
He amazes me!
You see that creamy goodness?
It tasted amazing with a bit of this:
He used:
- ground cashews
- egg whites
- lemon juice
- crushed garlic
- seasonings
- nutritional yeast
And then we topped the whole mess off with some steamed broccoli. Gotta get some greens in
Next time, I will make sure he measures out the ingredients because this is a winner.
In fact, I think he could win Master Chef!
Are you a fan of the show?
Of to ride our bikes………
Happy Saturday friends.

Dinner looks great. Jason watches that show sometimes, but it’s nothing we set out to watch (like we don’t know what times it’s on). Hope you’re having a great Saturday!
Master Chef or not, when my husband cooks for me I am in heaven!
way to go Bill!!!!!
looks yummy and i love pasta, sauce and broc!
have a great Saturday
Awesome dinner, Bill is a great chef! Mine will cook for me sometimes, but vegan dishes are tough for him.
Nick and I watch the show, and love it! It’s kind of corny at times, but hey, it’s entertaining. I say GO FOR IT BILL!! This sounds like a winning dish. And like Ramsey says, “It’s cooked PEERFECTLY!” In that British accent…
Did he cook the sauce? I see egg whites, but wouldn’t want to eat them uncooked.
Mmnn, this plate seems yummy! My hubby likes to cook for me, but he generally avoids it because of all the mess he leaves behind (he can’t handle cleaning up and he doesn’t like the idea of leaving me all the dirty work)
He definitely needs to audition! He’d kick butt with meals like that!
i think so too
