Quite busy

It is amazing how busy one can be even when they are not working.

It is a different busy than work busy though.  It is definitely more fun.  And you usually do things you want to do instead of what you have to do.  Actually even things you don’t want to do are better when you don’t have to go to work.

Today was quite busy in a good way for me.

First I continued with my self-imposed training camp and hooked up with the Tuesday/Thursday group.

We rode up the coast as usual.

I don’t think I can ever get tired of this ride with this to look at the whole time.

Once I was done riding, I showered up, drank a green monster, and headed to Lowes to spruce up my front yard.

This is what it looked like before I started:

And the other side before:

After:Boy yard work is a lot of work!  But you do get instant gratification so it is fun :)

I am no green thumb so I hope these plants survive.

Do you have a knack for plants?  Do you enjoy working in your yard?

I have mixed feelings.  I like to do some work but let the gardener do some too :)

Have a great night and happy Thursday friends!

Try to garden, hard to keep it all alive when it is over 100 for 2 weeks straight. Cute front yard.

  2. I don’t think I’d get tired of that scenery either!

i think youre playing catch up all the small adventures you had to put aside when working. Busy but fun!

  4. You’re killing me with that beautiful scenery! And it’s nice to see such a range of ages in your cycling group, how interesting.

I’m not a gardener, but I do love a beautiful garden. My husband plants stuff, and waters it. I just do herbs.

I love non-work busy so much fun. That is a pretty ride.

  6. Kalli- curious as to if you are doing the HCG diet still? I can’t imagine you are with all of the activity that you are doing! I don’t think you’d still be standing, while on that! I’m on it for the second time. it seems to be doing even better this time around!
