Food Recap

Good Morning!  I love reading all of your comments from my HCG workout recap and look forward to hear what you say about my HCG food recap.

It seems most of you are curious to see if I will be able to keep the weight off.  The truth is I plan on losing another 4 pounds to get to a happy weight of 120 in the next four weeks.  I plan on doing this by incorporating a maintenance diet with exercise.

I have learned so much about my body through this experience and have learned so much more than I thought I knew about food.  And how to fuel properly.  I have also learned how much sugar is hiding out in foods-yuck!

Overall, when I started this diet, I was feeling very “fluffy”  for lack of a better word.  I was definitely filling out all of my clothes and most of my jeans were getting so tight and muffin top was becoming a more frequent problem.  I also did not want to wear tanks or shorts because I felt I was less defined everywhere.

This picture is from our last day in San Diego.  I was not happy with how tight my clothes were and how undefined my arms were.  In fact, I was not happy I had to wear this tank top (It was warm! so I had to).

Having lost almost 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks, by eating:

  • apple for breakfast
  • raw veggies for snack
  • salad/veggies with 4 oz of protein and a melba cracker for lunch
  • apple, grapefruit, orange, or strawberries for snack
  • salad/veggies with 4 oz of protein and a melba cracker for dinner

And drinking tons of water and herbal tea.

I now feel like my old 30′s self :)

These are pics I took of myself the other day (in the bathroom mirror).  I feel GOOD :)

And motivated to work out and feel even better…….

Overall, I am excited and looking forward to this next phase of wellness.

The HCG experience has been so positive for me.  The changes I saw on a daily basis were amazing.  And some things changed (like the shape of my thighs) that I thought would never change on my body.

Hope you guys have a great Friday and maybe have some fun Mother’s Day plans.

Bill just told me he is working on his next post!

Enjoy today friends :)

Well, you look awesome!! 120 lbs just seems like it would be so tiny on you! But you are tall and slender. If I get much below 130 (even at 5’2.5″), my friends start telling me I look old and gaunt. It’s these darn German farmer stock legs of mine.

At this point, 130 would thrill me though.
