Thank you for all of your supportive and kind comments on Bill’s post. He has been the biggest supporter of my blog from the very beginning and I have always wanted him to provide a post. I think he liked it so hopefully I can get him to do a few more.
The bars he made smell incredible when they are baking but they also can skip the baking process completely and just be refrigerated. He has made a few varieties with just a scarce amount of ingredients. I just posted the recipe under my recipes page. Check it out.
I have a bit of a confession to make.
Since we moved into our home January 1 we have been living with one piece of cookware.
Yup just one big pasta pot and two lids.
Why you ask? Well when I was packing for our move, I really did not want to pack and move our dingy cookware. I really wanted a new set.
But when we moved in I had no kitchen so why bother buying new right away.
Then our kitchen was finished
and we had no money leftover so we made do……..
Finally yesterday I ventured over to my favorite store Target and got the cutest set of cookware on sale.
Oh I love the red color and love that it is Giada’s brand
On a side note……
for the first time in my life, (this is embarrassing!) my thighs do not rub together. I cannot believe that my thighs have shrunk! Yay!

yay!! congrats on your new set of pots! I love Giada and her pots and pans are so cute! and congrats on your thighs not rubbing too
BTW your kitchen is gorgeous!
Beautiful pots!!! Enjoy!
Love watching Giada, and love her pots. Your diet is going great good job!!
Woo on the shrinking thighs! I will never be that lucky. Even when I was teeny tiny and WAY too skinny at 110 lbs when I was 18, these monsters rubbed together. Good solid German farmer stock.
But I did notice that my arms are fat. Gotta lose those 13 lbs I gained when I stopped running. Arm fat is no good!!
YAY!!! I’m all about the thighs not rubbing together, it’s NEVER a good feeling! i’m curious about this diet you are on and must have missed a past post…also interested in the HCG….
Cute pots. Love the red!
I was taking a large gulp of water when I read your side note and almost spit it out!! to funny!< but seriously that WILL be the first thing I post if I ever get there!!! I can't remember when mine DIDN"T!!:( You go girl!!
LOVING the new pots!! Can't wait to see what you will be cooking up!
Isn’t it funny how those minor victories feel the best?!
Love your adorable new pots!!!
Love the color on the new pots! As for the thighs, I can’t remember a time when mine haven’t(yes it’s where I carry my weight). Congrats!!
ahhh, how I love a good kitchen remodel. my husband and I would love to flip houses…would be a blast!
I just saw a set of Giada cookware at coughtargetcough.
I love the red too!
well done!!!
Wonderful on the thighs! You’ll enjoy that feeling this summer. Love the pull-out trays in your cupboards. I have two sets of pots/pans. A copper bottom Revere Ware set that I bought in 1973 and a set kinda like yours but they’re black. I still use them both.
Sometimes minimal living is fun.
Love the new cookware, can’t wait to see what you create with it. And congrats on the victory, that’s great!
Your non-red thighs have been replaced with red cookware!! Congrats on BOTH the gaining of the pans and the losing of the chafe!!! Your kitchen is SOOOO nice!!! Have a great day Kallie
I love red pots/pans! They will look perfect in your amazing kitchen
