Well today is the last day of my pseudo vacation. I am looking forward to going home tonight and seeing this face:
And of course to sleep in my own bed 
Yesterday I ventured back out to the Irvine Spectrum for some more shopping. Now I am not a big shopper but this place is amazing. Not only do they have shopping but they have all these beautiful waterfalls mixed in between the shops:
And they have a carousel:

I walked around a lot and enjoyed the beautiful day. I did end up buying a few pairs of Lucky jeans but mostly I enjoyed the scenery
All the walking got me hungry so around lunch time I decided to try something I have heard so much about but have not ever tried before.
Super smart choice for lunch. This was THE BEST FROZEN YOGURT EVER!
I got the original tart flavor with some strawberries and shaved chocolate. I think next time-oh yes there will be a next time my dear Pinkberry-I will just get the yogurt with no toppings. It is that good!!

Today I am going to get a run in before I need to check out and then venture over to Mom and Dad’s place until Bill gets off work and then we will drive on home.

Somewhere in there: try to make it to the greek fest, and go swimming at the pool at the fancy health club (I have a free week!)

That yogurt looked yummy! My husband was in L.A. for business this week and called me from my favorite yogurt chain we used to go to when we lived in Utah and CA. I did have a come back though, a new place (chain) Red Mango just went in and it is all pro-biotic and healthy frozen yogurt and smoothies. Might have to check it out this weekend!
Wow those fountains are so pretty! And I loooooove fro yo. I’ve never had Pinkberry but have heard amazing things. Nothing too exciting for me this weekend, just the way I like it!
Don’t you just love a carousel! Yum! Pinkberry! Plans, I am going to brave camping waaaaaaay out in the woods up hwy 4. Very rustic. Not sure if it’s too rustic for me but it’s only overnight with some friends. We’ll see.

And I’ve never had pinkberry. Not sure if it’s made it to Chicago yet? But we have Starfruit, which seems to be somewhat similar according to what I’ve heard…
Sleeping in my own bed is the best thing about coming home after travels. This weekend I’m meeting my new niece!

The weather looks gorgeus. I have never had pinkberry but have heard good things. By the look of it, it looks delicious!! Can’t go wrong with frozen yogurt.

We do have places in Oklahoma City but I just haven’t visited. Nothing exciting for me this weekend. And that’s what I’m looking forward to most.

Weekend plans = hiking with my mom! We hung out in Asheville today and ate good food and painted pottery! So fun!
What a beautiful mall! Omigosh I am so jealous! Most of our malls are indoors because its just too cold in Washington. Probably a good decision though.

As you end your vacation, we are just starting ours. We are in the spectacular Puget Sound but very far from any shopping or yogurt.
Oh Pinkberry..how I long to meet you one day! We spotted a new self-serve fro-yo shop being built in our area. So exciting.
