I love to try new products and to share them with the people around me. I am not a product “snob” and will try pretty much any product-expensive or thrifty.
While I was getting ready yesterday morning I realized when I packed for this week, I really only brought my truly favorite products with me in an effort to safe space in my luggage.
Currently these are my top three picks (again I apologize for the iPhone pics):
Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream. This little miracle can be picked up at Target for about 7 dollars and is such an emollient cream. You can also feel it firming once you put it on. I love it and love the price even more. Works very much like a 50 dollar cream for sure.
Philosophy the Supernatural tinted moisturizer with SPF. This little miracle is about 30 dollars but is well worth it if you do not like to wear makeup and want a SPF that is not greasy. I wear this everyday. It is like putting on a bit of foundation and SPF all in one. The tinted color seems to easily adjust to my face color.
Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path body lotion. First off I can go totally crazy in Bath and Body Works so I have to stay away until I really need to restock. This is the scent I always grab when I go. It is light and feminine. In fact, most times when I wear it which is almost daily, I always get compliments on my smell
What are some of you favorite products? I am always looking for new and fun things to try!
On a side note:
Yesterday I went to the Irvine Spectrum for shopping thanks to a suggestion from Robyn and then I saw Eclipse!!!!! Oh I really thought it was the best Twilight flick yet. So good……
Today I am off to hang out with my parents.
Hope you have a great Hump Day

I just found Short Sexy Hair Texture Cream. Loving it so far. It adds texture and hold, but without looking like I have a ton of product in my hair. I found it at Target. Happy Hump Day to you too!!!
I always use a sugar scrub in the shower..it really keeps the skin feeling soft.
I adore L’Occitane products – though, unfortunately, my favourite line of theirs still contains some dodgy ingredients. They do, however, have some organic products that are free of all the nasty stuff – wee bit pricey but very, very nice. They just opened up a store here in Winnipeg last week – I must stay away.
Thanks for the tip on the Olay nighttime cream. I’m not getting any younger for sure….
I love Dermalogica products. They really work well for my sensitive skin.
I think everyone, but me, is into Twilight. I’m sorry, Harry Potter has my heart, lol. I love Bath & Body works, but my mom loves it more and gives me all the lotions:)
I love Target’s apricot facial exfoliate. Once a week and I swear it makes my skin feel so rejuvenated.
I’m like you, when I find something I like, I like to share it with the world! Thanks for the tips! I’ll check them out!
I totally agree about tinted moisturizers – that is what I use every day in lieu of foundation and it does blend into my skin well and make it look sort of like I’m wearing makeup but not too heavy!
I’ve been looking for a new tinted moisturizer. I’m going to check out Philosphy. I’m a Bare Minerals girl. I love how it gives me just enough coverage without looking or felling heavy. I’m also a big fan of Loreal’s mascara.
where are you off to?? Im a big fan or “cool, calm, and corrected” night cream. it’s a little pricey–but helps with my red cheeks!!
I’m currently digging the Aveeno Face Moisturizer with spf in it. It was something I bought on a whim because I was running low on my usual stuff (I’m a Mary Kay kind of gal on certain things). But I’m never going back… LOVE this stuff.
I need to try some of that cream. I am definitely seeing the 40+ wrinkles starting to come.
I really like St Ives products. I have their green tea facial scrub, which is quite nice.
Lol you probably don’t want my advice on beauty products
Happy Wednesday Kalli!
proX wrinkle smoothing cream. I received a sample to try and love it.
I am totally going to check out the oil of olay night cream. I just ran out and 7 bucks at Target is right up my alley.
I don’t wear spf (bad…) or foundation (more bad) becasue I feel so icky after my lunch run.
so happy you shared your fun products.
have fun today
I love everything Aveda! It’s more natural and less chemically than other products, plus the company is very economically and environmentally conscious.
You make those creams and lotions sound wonderful. Wish I could use them but my skin doesn’t like any cream.
Since I have to use sunscreen, most of the summer I wrestle with mild breakouts.
I *love* Moonlight Path from B&B — it is my favorite smell!
I am so stuck in the same routine that I hardly ever try something new — I have used the same face wash/moisturizer for years, but I love it!
I’m so glad you made it there!! Crazy place isn’t it? How good is Twilight hehe.
I love SkinRX stuff. It’s addicting!
I like trying new stuff too! And I love B&BW! Warm vanilla sugar is my scent :]
I love Olay stuff. And Target usually has their knock off brands.
I’m cheap like that. I used to buy stuff from BBW all the time but every scent I fell in love with was eventually discontinued. Now when they bring back the oldies for $5, it’s on like Donkey Kong!
I love trying new products too! Thanks for sharing your favs with us!
Ooo fun post! My favorite bath and body works produce is their coconut lime line. Makes me think of summer every time I smell it!
I love beauty products, too! I tend to be a Dermalogica fan for my face as my skin is a bit sensitive, but I love products by Philosophy, too!
i have used oil of olay products religiously since i was a kid. my mom used it. and now even my ten year old daughter insists on having her own in her bathroom.
One of my new favorite things is this Bentonite Clay face mask I picked up. I give myself a facial about once a week and it gets all the grit/dirt/dry skin, etc. off my face and leaves it looking refreshed (once the redness clears…so I only do it at night!)
