Busy Bees

Hello friends!  I feel like I have been MIA for so long but in reality I think it has just been 24 hours :)

I cannot wait to read up on all of your July 4th adventures…………

We have been Busy Bees for sure over in our neck of the woods.

There has been lots of Ultimate Oats thanks to Bill. Look at this mornings breakfast:

Oh Yum…….He really is the master of the kitchen :)

Lots of dog walking-my legs are sore!  Don’t let anyone tell you walking is not good exercise!:

Lot’s of dog trips:

Pepsi LOVES to hang her head out the car window.

Lot’s of tired dogs:

And a 5K race!

Bill and I and Khrystle woke up bright and early on July 4th to tackle the Harbor Run.

Bill and I did the 5K and Khrystle did the 10K.

Bill rocked it!  No official time yet but we think he got under 20 minutes.  So jealous.

I think I got somewhere around 26 minutes.  Oh how I want to hit 25 something for my next race.  Khrystle thinks I don’t push hard enough in races.  She is threatening to run a 5K alongside me next time to see if I push hard enough-gulp………I think I am in trouble.

And she did her 10K in under 50 minutes.  That girl can run!  Oh and she can bike too……. :)

Great times I tell you.

Hope you are having a great day and hope you had a fun weekend as well.

Thanks for reading!

  22. Congrats on the 5K! You had an awesome time! It might help to have someone pacing you…you might not even realize how fast you’re running. That happened to me when I did a long run with one of my friends who is super fast…we ran at a sub 8 pace the whole time and I didn’t even realize it!
