It has been an almost perfect start to my summer vacation.
Last night I welcomed the vacation with dinner and wine with Khrystle and Sara.
And woke up without an alarm, drank coffee, and went on a lovely run.
Then had a relaxing lunch with Ruth and the dogs at Cafe Nouveau. I love Cafe Nouveau because you can bring your pups with you and they have a fabulous menu.

Had a great salad made with turkey, cheese, cranberries and pecans with a balsamic dressing:
YUM!
I will miss Ruth because she will be in Hawaii with her hubby all summer!
Then I took a long nap…….Oh I needed it!
Tonight Bill and I are enjoying a bit of this and relaxing:

I am gonna ride on Saturday and go see Dad on Sunday.

Awesome. I am not sure what the plans are yet with my dad. They are in the process of moving so dad’s day may be next weekend at the lake.

Unfortunately, I will not get to be with my dad. Living in different states makes it difficult. But our family trip we’re planning also is over his birthday, so we’re doing a double celebration then!

i’ll be shooting on sunday, but it doesn’t matter b/c my dad and my daddy in law are both on the other side of the country. i sent them gifts already, though!

Isn’t waking up alarm-clock-less GREAT?!
I have a friend that’s been living and working in Krygyzstan for the past 10+ months, and he just came back this week, so we’re having a homecoming gathering for him :] He endured revolution there a couple months ago; I’d say he deserves a couple drinks bought for him!
