Thank you for entering my Lara Bar giveaway yesterday!
Happy Last Tuesday of the school year for me
Hopefully you had a lovely Monday and now a lovely Tuesday!
I thought it would be fun to share what I ate meal by meal. I don’t usually do this because
- I am not a food blogger specifically
- It is a pain to record all of you meals
- I don’t usually have the time
But I did do it yesterday so here goes…….
I woke up and had my usual coffee with soy creamer:
Once I got to work I drank my smoothie made with Tempt Hemp Milk, Living Harvest Hemp Protein, Pom Juice, Frozen Berries, Almond Butter, Half a Banana, and a tbsp of Cocoa Powder:
A couple hours later I ate this yogurt:
I am not a big fan of yogurt but I do like the Greek-style versions as of late. I really wanted to try Voskos because I had seen it on other blogs and it looked so good.
I emailed the company and they were so great! They sent me 5 free product coupons so I could try their yogurt
They are also fun to follow on twitter and facebook and are very supportive of blogs.
I tried the fig flavor first-love the little chunks of figs in the yogurt:
I would DEFINITELY buy this yogurt without a coupon next time! I found it to be the perfect consistency and not too sweet or tart-just right
A few hours later I had my lunch of watermelon and a leftover salmon sandwich (I mixed the salmon with some avocado):
Yes those are two different types of bread! Ran out of one…….hee hee
Later:
Much later:
So loving these bars……..creamy, crunchy, perfect! Must buy more!
And for dinner a giant salad:
Wow I am tired, being a food blogger takes a lot of work!
Look who is staying with us until Friday or Saturday:
Well I am off to walk Pepsi and Lulu and get my bootie to work
Do you like taking pictures and documenting everything you eat?
It was fun for a day but too much work for me!
Have a great Tuesday lovelies

Oh fig yogurt – yum! I don’t have the time or energy to blog about all of my food. Dinner is typically all you’ll get from me, every once in a while breakfast or just a mention of breakfast or lunch. Unless it’s something special, like making a picnic lunch or food for the family, then I don’t take pictures even. I don’t know how people have the time to blog all of their eats…
great pictures! well rounded day.I dont like taking pics of everything i put in my mouth either. too much work and then im always thinking” what about these 5 almonds???” That’s why I stick to pictures of prepared recipes.
I have to agree with # 2.It is a pain to record all of you meals I do it usually to keep myself on track or when I am doing a challenge.
I love looking a pictures of other people’s food but I don’t have the time (or great camera) to take pics of what I eat. I did smile today when I sat down to read your post ~ cup of coffee in hand ~ and noticed that our mugs matched! I get so many coffee spot gift cards and feel so guilty spending $4-$5 on a cup of joe, that I usually buy fun mugs instead. My firsties love seeing me drink my coffee/tea/water out of a mug that they “bought” for me.
No way…taking pictures of everything I eat everyday takes way too much work!
I don’t photograph and blog everything I eat. I don’t mind doing it too much, but I do find it a pain to have to plug in the camera and upload pics every day. Its a lot easier to just use my phone and e-mail the pictures to myself, but they are such bad quality I feel like it cheapens my blog to do that every day.
However, as a former Weight Watcher, I know that tracking food DEFINITELY encourages me to eat better, so I can see how blogging about your food intake daily would serve a similar purpose.
Ahhhh yes. the big time suck. taking pics may not be as cumbersome as downloading, uploading and what not.
I like taking pics of my “pretty food” haha
or new things I try!
little Lulu is adorable! how fun to puppy sit. it’s like grandkids. you can spoil and play with them and then give them back to Mama and Dada later on!
hahahaha
Enjoy your last Tuesday!
I don’t normally take pictures of everything I eat but when I did the other week it seemed to keep me on track. I had more effort in the kitchen it seems.
It does take a lot of work, I agree.
Those Kardea bars are great!
That fig yogurt looks really good! I only take pictures of my meals and not my snacks (unless it’s something totally awesome) because no one needs to see the random handful of something I grabbed or the apple I ate in the afternoon!
I do like taking my food pictures. I’m not religious about it and I usually don’t make a spectacle at a restaurant to take photos, but I get most of my food online. I like to scroll through and look for color. My dishes are all white so I can’t cheat and put something on a bright plate. I know if I see a lot of colors on a regular basis then I’m eating well!
It all looks fantastic – especially the fig yogurt.
I love the idea of salmon with avocado too – what a great mix.
I would be a dreadful food blogger – not nearly disciplined enough.
Happy Last Tuesday!
I love LuLu!
I like to document all my eats once in a while. Like on long run days to make sure I’m staying on track with my nutrition. all the time would get old really fast though, lol!
Mmmm your giant salad looks delish!
You know…I have the hardest time capturing everything I’ve eaten AND I eat a lot fo the same things so I think it’d be WAY boring!
Yeah I agree with Kelly -too much work…and a little obsessive much?…plus I eat way too much and it’d just be disgusting…
Enjoy your day
Taking pics of my eats does get kind of tiring, I must admit! It’s harder for me to do once I’m home w/ the boys but I try.
I had a friend mention that fig yogurt to me today and she couldn’t remember the name! Fate? YES!
When I am at home with lots of time on my hands, then I like to capture all my eats. However, when I am busy at school I definitely don’t have time!
I love to photograph food, so fun, but I can do every meal. Way too much work, especially with the kiddos who have no patience haha.
I do document almost all my meals but I really enjoy it. It makes me more creative with my food, plus I make it look prettier than I would if I wasn’t taking pictures so it’s more fun to eat!
That smoothie sounds and looks SO good! You make me want to like hemp protein! :]
I think documenting every single meal is too much work, but I do get weirdly excited to read/see other peoples’, heh.
Fig yogurt? Sounds yum!
As you know, I photograph everything I eat. I love photography, so that helps. I love to look at pictures of food, too. Actually, I just love food period LOL!
I don’t take pictures of everything and I don’t document on my blog exactly what I eat. I do keep track on my own spreadsheet though and I track the calories from Calorieking.com. I blog about my dinners on my recipe blog. My breakfast is pretty boring, it’s always the same and my lunches are usually just leftovers from dinner so not worth blogging about. Plus I would always forget to take pictures.
Great meals! I really like the way you eat
Doggie is soooo cute! Is that Pepsi or Lulu? Tooooo cute
You know I love pups!
I could never ever ever document my intake all day every day. Bor-ing. But I do think it’s fun to take a peek once in a while at what others eat! Always good for ideas. I will be trying out that Greek yogurt – sounds great, that fig flavor!
Happy last day of school!!!
Yummy eats, I’m glad you shared with us an entire day! The yogurt looks amazing, I’m definitely going to look for it!
Look at you go! Now I am definitely hungry. I take pics of things I find interesting or unique, but you find yourself oddly compelled to start snapping away once you start. Anthony Bourdain can’t stand when people take pics, he’d rather everyone just eat.
Well, to eat there own..or each there own, whatever:)
Each their own, ha. My pun was a bit of a fail there, lol.
I love posting what I eat every day – it helps reduce the amount of fast food I eat if I have to show it!
I usually get up at 6:30 a.m., I don’t have to leave for work until 8:30, so that’s my blog post/blog reading time/coffee start the day time – I love it!
Lol I love your mismatched sandwich!! I very rarely blog every little thing I ate because I would be uploading pics for hours everyday! I usually just do breakfast/lunch/dinner. Sometimes I just do dinner, though, because my breakfasts and lunches can get pretty repetitive and boring. I don’t really have a set format I guess

That all looks pretty yummy to me. I love documenting my food and posting about it but it certainly takes effort. I end up snapping pics with the blackberry most of the time because I don’t feel like using my camera and then uploading the photos when I can just email straight from the berry.
I simply can not document everything I eat. I think I would bore everyone.
“Ok, I ate this apple. Then I ate some carrots and dipped it into this hummus…” blahhhh haha
I like doing it the way I usually do- just random meals here and there. I think I would start to obsess if I saw every little thing I ate documented in each of my posts. That would be no good for this girl…
Just doing one meal or so a day or every other day still gives people a generally good idea of what I’m consuming while trying to keep active… or at least I like to think it does.
oh yes, a day w/o taking photos for the blog feels….weird now!
I love the smoothie in the magic bullet cup!! (I only know it’s that because I have one too!). I normally don’t post what I eat/drink all day either, but I do think its nice to switch it up sometimes! Aww how cute is LuLu?!?!
Hi there!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Where do you do crossfit?
I don’t enjoy taking pictures of food for my blog since I’m a terrible cook, but occasionally I will if I actually make something worthy of sharing. Hope to see you again soon!
I really enjoy reading food diary-style blogs but that wouldn’t work for me. I simply don’t feel like taking a photo of everything I eat because 1) I feel silly taking photos of a handful of nuts 2) sometimes I just want to enjoy the company of my friends/family and not spend ages trying to take the perfect photo 3) nothing will stop me when I’m haaangry.
I would make the worlds worst food blogger. #1, I’m always way too ready to eat so snapping a picture might set me over the edge and #2, My food photography is sub-par at best.
I like to go back and forth between recording my daily eats and not. I kind of just go with what I’m in the mood to do for that particular day.
Oh, and I completely agree with your thoughts on the fig voskos yogurt. That was one of my personal favorites, along with the vanilla/honey flavor. Both were marvelous.
I think I would be taking pictures about every 30 minutes if I photographed everything
I LOVE Lulu! What a cutie! Those little dogs are so friendly. She looks as if she enjoyed having her photo taken.
As for documenting food, I do it once in a while to see how my stats are (40-30-30 plan), especially if I’ve tweaked my diet. I do enjoy taking pics of my recipe creations.
There are just too many blogs out there where people list every meal daily. It gets a bit boring day after day. But I do like to check in once and a while to see if there is anything new. I usually eat more than those bloggers – maybe that’s why I don’t keep visiting every day….makes me feel guilty about being such a hog.
Great eats, especially the smoothie and salad. I sometimes document all my eats, but because my breakfasts are always the same, I don’t post it unless trying something new. Agreed, remembering to document everything can be a pain.
I have been toying with this idea for weeks (okay maybe months) now. A big part of me really wants to document with photos simply because I do so enjoy going to blogs and seeing that myself. However, I also know the time involved and I’m not sure I have the time needed to truly do it well.
