How do you POM?

This morning I whipped up a delicious smoothie.

I made it a bit different than normal because I am out of my fav Amazing Grass.

I used Tempt Hemp Milk, Living Harvest Hemp Protein, Trader Joe’s organic cocoa powder, almond butter, frozen berries, and POM juice:

It was so good!

Delicious!

I am looking forward to making one tomorrow morning for Smoothie Friday!

  1. I will be making one tomorrow morning for Smoothie Friday! Almond milk, spinach, protein powder, for sure the rest depends on what jumps out at me at the store.

  2. I need a smoothie now! I haven’t had one in over a week…tomorrow might be a smoothie with granola morning, if you see something along that line on my blog tomorrow it is because of this post :)

  3. Pom juice is a great smoothie add in! I also add a dash of it to my oatmeal while it’s cooking. SO GOOD!

  4. I agree that POM is a fantastic mix in. It adds a great tart flavor in the mix of all of the fruit sweetness.

  5. mmm. I’ve never put anything like POM in and it sounds great. I love the frozen fruit mix called Wawona. It’s papaya, pineapple, mango and strawberries. I try to mix with fresh greens and maybe through in a beet or a carrot too.

  7. My favorite smoothie right now is brown rice vanilla protein powder, vanilla hemp milk, banana, and peanut butter. So good :)

  8. My roommate and I were on a smoothie kick for a while and now we haven’t made one in a week! Yikes.

    I love that you used POM in this! Sounds delicious.

  9. Yum! When I got a free sample pack of POM juice I made smoothies and popsicles with it all the time. I don’t like drinking it plain but it makes the BEST addition to a smoothie. I will try to make a nice smoothie today, for Friday. I add lots of berries now that they are in season!!

  10. I love putting spinach, 1 banana any type of fruit and amazing grass into my smoothies. I love that stuff!

  12. I totally love POM in my shakes! I’m also on a carrot cake protein shake kick all of a sudden….

    1 scoop vanilla powder
    a handful of carrots
    cinnamon
    a splash of almond milk
    water + ice

    Num, num, num!

  13. Try this with POM. It’s not a smoothie, but tasty:

    Pomegranate juice vinaigrette

    * 1 ounce of POM Wonderful juice
    * 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
    * 1 tablespoon of light oil
    * 1/4 tsp salt
    * several grinds of black pepper

    Combine everything in a covered container and shake to blend. It took 2 minutes to do! 1 serving.

  15. OK … I hate to kill the healthy vibe that’s happenin’ here on Smoothie Friday but my POM is with vodka.

    I guess you could blend some ice and call that a smoothie. LOL
