Last night I had my first look at my new bike!
She is not ready but might be today 
But first it was taco night over at Metal Mountain Bike Shop.
After 6:30 on a Friday Night, Trevor’s shop becomes a Taqueria 
. People come from all over to have tacos, beer and wine.

Congrats on your new bike! I have a 1 year old bike that I love but I cannot find a bike rack to fit on my car and I am too chicken to ride it on the busy LA streets after I feel over last year.
These are the times when I wish I lived in suburbia!

I ran 8 miles at the butt crack-o-dawn and will most likely spend the rest of today getting ready for tomorrow…. The Easter Bunny (aka: MOM) comes tonight ya know!!

Race playlist…I need to do that. Actually, today I ran. 12 miles. With a cold. And I took it kinda easy and managed to match my 1/2 marathon pace from last November. I tried to just listen to ALL my music today, not just the “running” music.
And you know? It was nice. The occasional Alanis, Ray Charles, and Cranberries is a nice interlude with Gwen Stefani and The Black Eyed Peas.
Now…start soaking some black beans, shower, and…probably eat myself silly.
OMG have an awesome 8k that you wrote me about! and enjoy OC and time in the beautiful hopefully! weather that you’re having.

Yay for new bikes! I ordered mine yesterday. What did you get? A road bike? hybrid? Mountain? …. I decided on a road bike, a Specialized Dolce Sport…I get fitted for it sometime after Tuesday. I can’t wait!

I spent a few hours at Target doing Easter bunny shopping. Had no idea till Thursday night that Easter was Sunday. YIKES!
