Welcome to my Yoga Studio

So far today has been just the kind of day I needed.

Started with a good cup of joe with some soy creamer:

Caught up on some blog reading :)

Did a couple loads of laundry.

And then had all intentions to go for a run but it was SO windy and I felt so achy and tight from this weeks workouts.

If there is one thing I have learned from years of working out, when you feel tight and achy-practice yoga.

Welcome to my Yoga Studio :)

I did a 45 minute Solar Vinyasa Flow class from Yoga Download.

My body was thanking me the whole time.  By the time I got to Savasana, I felt like I had a massage.  Love that!

After yoga, I got to have Oats in a Jar!

I never get to make this because it seems I never have an almost empty jar of almond butter:

This made me very happy.

Perfection.

Bill just got home from a VERY long ride and we had some pizza for lunch.

Never tried this and loved it!  Definitely a keeper for the frozen and healthy pizza category:

My plate with a slice of pizza topped off with avocado and some carrots and radishes on the side:

I just whipped up these little gems from this recipe:

Bill says, “Delicious!”

Well I am off to the bike shop to pick up some new running socks.  I had Trevor order me my favs.

Then Bill and I are gonna watch, Julie and Julia can’t wait!

Hope you are having a great Saturday as well :)

  1. I loved Julie and Julia – it made me want to move to Paris and the food…yum! Sounds like you had a great day.

  2. I haven’t eaten an AMY’s frozen meal I didn’t like.

I have to check that one out, I haven’t seen that one before

    Have a great weekend!

  3. i’ve never had the amy’s brand of that pizza but trader joe’s makes a version that’s great.

  4. Oats in a jar! What a great idea, I will have to try this.

  5. When I could eat gluten, we used to love that frozen pizza!

I hope you enjoyed “Julie and Julia!” I just adore Meryl Streep. SHe should have won the Oscar.
Yoga looks wonderful. I always feel so good after I practice!

  7. Love the yoga studio, mine is in front of a Wii. :-) It’s been windy here too. Great eats, the cookies look awesome. I liked Julie & Julia … even though I could never cook with that much butter, need to rent it again.

  8. oh you are so right about the yoga. I do something most every day but not the last couple and boy I feel it! today for sure (after that run) I am going to stretch.

it’s crazy windy here too. I have a long run and I wanted to go outside but I don’ t know about that wind. 4.5 on a TM is a loooong run.

    sigh

    Have a great Sunday

  9. I don’t even know where to begin! I really like this post! At home yoga = awesome :) Have you tried So Delicious coconut milk creamer? I’ve heard it’s to die for! I’m not much of a cream and coffee person (I like it straight up), but maybe you’d like it!

OIAJ! Yum! And Amy’s is pretty much the only frozen stuff I will buy, but only occasionally.

You said you’d never seen Julie and Julia right? Maybe I’m making this up! I love it though! Such a good food/blogging movie! :)

    Enjoy your day!! :D
