Operation Strong Arms

Last night we tried some fun new items in our salad thanks to my Fresh and Easy run:

  • Loved the lemon hummus-of course I have not met a hummus I did not like!
  • The Butta :) Beans lived up to their name and were buttery and good.
  • And the tofu burgers tasted homemade not prepackaged like the frozen ones I normally buy.  I know I have to make my own soon ;)

My salad beast:

Well today is an exciting day for me!

After work Khrystle and I are meeting to start my “training” regime.

Khrystle is a certified personal trainer and life style coach and a good friend ;) .

I will be using her personal training skills to get my upper body in shape and to speed up my running.

  • Tuesdays will be arms.
  • Thursdays will be speed work.

I am very excited to see what she has planned for me this afternoon.

I will definitely be back to let you know how Operation Strong Arms went!

Pepsi just wanted to say “hi”

Enjoy your day friends!

Don’t forget to enter my Giveaway for a super cute Thermal Hoodie.

  1. Are butter beans the same things as broad beans and lima beans? Hmmm…they look the same. I used to hate them as a child because they were always in this frozen veg mix and hard.

  2. Your salad looks delish! I’ve been meaning to start making my own veggie burgers too. Right now I like Sunburgers because there’s only about 4 ingredients.

  3. Great new hummus find. I feel like I’m wanting to put hummus on everything these days! And what a great burger. I saw those at the store but didn’t know how they’d be. Glad to know they’re worth it!
This is an exciting day for you. Strength training really makes such a difference. Not only in toning, but in how you feel. I love that sore feeling from a good workout! Good luck girl! You are motivation to me to get my booty moving!

  4. That Hummus is great, that’s what I bought when I went to Fresh n Easy, I’ve never tried those burgers though, they do look delish!

I can’t wait to hear about your workout!! I really need to put more strength training into my routine but feel like I really don’t know what I’m doing…

    Have a great day Kalli!!

Lemon cilantro hummus sounds awesome! I’m so going to have to recreate it. I’ve made a cilantro jalapeno hummus but I think the lemon would be a nice twist.

Good luck with the training regimen! you’ll have to let the rest of us know how it goes!
