So Sore and So Green

Yesterday was a great workout day :) .

  • I did my run and circuit in the morning.
  • Walked to work and home.
  • Completed a 20 minute Solar Yoga Flow from Yoga Download (with lots of chaturangas ).

This was all for operation arm tone and now…….

I AM SORE-OUGH!

I love practicing yoga.

My favorite pose is Eagle Pose.

What is your favorite yoga pose?

Last night I tried one of our new food products from Whole Foods:

This was $8:99 and worth every penny.  Try it if you want a good red!

For dinner I whipped up something with these four ingredients:

Another successful “cleaning out the fridge” dinner :)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all!

Are you wearing green today or doing anything fun?

The Daily Red is a good one. Of course my favorite is Morro Bay Cabernet and Manage a Troi Red. Both California born and raised. The wines here are so incredible. They seem to be getting better and better, even. I am trying a Mertage for the first time. I haven’t made up my mind yet. I have a couple of glasses left in the bottle. I’ll let you know.

As for Green…I really don’t own or wear any. I’ll be in basic black as always today.

I love wine suggestions. Def. looking for that one next trip to the WS.

As for green, my shirt. Happy St. Patty’s!

  3. I forgot my green but a girl at the gym gave me a green necklace to wear :)

I LOVE red wine… but haven’t had a glass in a LONG time.. to be exact since mid Jan…. normally if I have wine it is on the weekend… but since on weekends we are training for the MS ride I haven’t been drinking any…. maybe I celebrate with a glass after the MS ride :)

  5. As you know, I am just beginning to incorporate yoga to my workout routine. Right now, I have no favorite pose, just a lot of concentration on not falling lol! ;)

Your food always looks so yummy! Today I plan on going to a St. Patty’s block party with some friends. I will be rockin’ shamrock glasses and a bow tie, haha. Happy St. Patty’s Day!!

  6. cleaning out the fridge dinners are sometimes the BEST you pull out thingsyou dont even remember buying and lots of fresh ingredients!!

  7. What a reasonably priced bottle of wine (I don’t know why wine is so much more in Canada than the US…grrr). I haven’t been able to find a sulfite free wine in my local store either so lucky you! Do you notice a difference in taste?

Sounds like a brilliant workout day – I bet you’ll have wicked arms by summer.

My hubby is Irish so we will be going to the local Irish club and celebrating though I swear I’m not going to have a Guinness…really I’m not. ;)

  8. Feeling sore is nice sometimes- you know that you’ve really gotten a great workout. I think my favorite yoga pose is child’s pose, it just feels so good.
And I think you managed to put together a great meal- wilted spinach and tomatoes is such a delicious combo.
    Have a happy green day!!

  13. Being sore from a good workout is a good feeling, something I’m feeling after the trampoline class last night! Mmmm, I may need to add that to my wine rack. :-)

  14. I have a long list of favorites, each for different reasons:

    down dog
    wheel

  15. Yes!! Organic wine is so much better for you and there are some really great ones available! I am lucky that BC has some amazing wines and they are all very reasonably priced. However, I am not so lucky that whole foods up here does not carry wine :(
