Gosh the darkness really through me off this morning. I felt like I could sleep forever!
Has anyone else felt a bit out of whack from this time change?
Last night I was thinking of some goals for the week.
You see this coming Saturday is another 5K I would like to do so I thought I should get prepared correctly.
Here are my Goals:
- run Tuesday and Thursday
- practice yoga Wednesday and Friday
- race on Saturday
Wish me luck
Do you have any weekly goals?
Have a great Monday

Well, run Tuesday (pace), THursday (tempo), Saturday (10 miles)
Walk today because I slept in and skipped my yoga DVD.
Yoga Weds and Sunday
That’s about it.
Yay for another 5k! I have a crazy work schedule this week, so my goal is to still chug along with all of my half training and to do my best to sneak in a few strength training days!
Looks like a good schedule!
I’m hoping to do 3 runs and 3 weight workouts this week – and that my long run will be 10miles+. At the moment I just feel like a nap though.
Yes, the time change threw me off too!! I feel like I can’t wake up
Another 5k? Girl, you are smokin’!! How fun!
My goal for the week are to get my 3 runs(short, tempo & long 7 miles) and 2 bike rides in of 16 miles each. I’ll be happy if I get all those in!
Have a great Monday!!
xoxo
My goal is to get in my runs this week!
It always takes me at least a week to readjust to this time change thing. I actually don’t like it at all!
Great schedule! I don’t write out specifics but it is understood that I will do some form of exercise for at least 1 – 1.5 hours every day!
I usually set a goal every week… but this week I am still trying to get adjusted to the time change.. time zone change and lack of sleep… my goal is to go through the week without coffee … well I already broke it this morning.. ooops
This week my goals are
*successfully adjust to time change (emphasis on successfully)
*eat raw!
*change my attitude about work
*make sometime to enjoy the patio and the fountain
Good luck with yours!
ugh… I got up an hour late due to time change (never set an alarm..never needed to!) had 2 hrs . to blog, exercise get girls up and out the door before dentist, BAM open mudroom to a flood! then daughter drops huge bowl of yogurt on kitchen floor.. lucky if i got in 18 min of cardio.. by the time I got to doc my head was spinning.. SO my goal is also to SUCCESSFULLY adjust to time change starting tomorrow:)
eat lots of plant based foods
do yoga 4+ times this week!
Sounds like you have some great goals! Mine:
1. yoga/pilates every day this week (trying to heal my injuries)
2. Sleep 8+ hours a night
3. Not let the scale dictate my mood!
I strive for at least 45 minutes of exercise M-F – although I skipped today to go to the grocery store
Happy Monday!
awwww so jealous you are rockin’ another 5K!
good for you!
I always have goals and to do lists.. I am actually trying to cut that out!
I have 3 runs to get in and 2 cross trainers which I hope to be a bike ride and some rope jumping…i don’t know, I am trying to find ways to shake it up!
but my run I have an am one, a treadmill one and another outside run probably Sunday!
and besides from being stoked I get more evening daylight time…the dark makes me NUTS. I am all over the place especially after last weeks’ no sleep issues. GAW~~~
Happy Monday!
Yeah, I could do without the time change! I love making goal lists – this week finalize garden plan, create 2 new recipes and survive another trampoline aerobics class!
Yes, I am completely wacked from the time change. But once I get used to it, I will be loving it!
The time change has me really messed up too. I need to make some weekly goals. It’s not too late, is it!?
