This morning I could not wait to get up and have oatmeal. It had been way too long since I had a warm bowl of oats.
First, I broke the “fast” with some protein and fat (doctors orders):
After some blog reading in bed, headed downstairs for breakfast.
While I was making my bowl of oats………
I got the greatest phone call.
Bill’s coworker, Cole and his wife Luciana were at TJ’s searching for ingredients to make raw almond balls and some other creations from this blog. I knew they were trying to eat healthier but I was so excited! How fun to find out you have silent supporters : )
Thanks Cole and Luciana-you guys made my day!
Hope your “balls” turn out good……
And now back to my oats.
We were out of Steel Cut and so I had to settle for traditional oats. They were not as good : (
This bowl had bananas, frozen mixed berries, dried cranberries, flax seed, and almond butter:
And some hot tea:
Target seems to be the only place that carries my favorite so I stocked up last night!
After Breakfast, Pepsi and I went on a walk and then I dropped her off to get groomed. She is one stinky girl!
Did a relaxing and stretchy Solar Vinyasa Flow class from www.yogadownload.com.
And now I am off to pick up Pepsi. I love it when she is super clean because I can really snuggle with her!
It is kinda a dreary day here but…………..
Bill is in the kitchen making pizza!
Hope you are having a great Saturday.

Silent supporters are the best! Enjoy the pizza!
I am not very familiar with the difference between steel-cut and regular cut oats, but eat regular. What do you like better about the steel-cut ones?
I like that their more chewy and seem to have a nuttier flavor.
i love it when readers come out of the woodwork too.
Ooo that sounds like a really nice lil Saturday you’ve had! I love a fresh smelling pup!
Delicious oatmeal!! And I can’t wait to see what pizza Bill whipped up!
Have a great night!

There is no better way to start off your day than with a nice yummy bowl of oatmeal and some yoga!! I would love to make your raw almond balls, where is the recipe?
What an awesome Saturday! I love relaxing mornings and pizza for dinner. I think those are two highlights that every Saturday should have.
Target is the only place I can find the passion tazo as well. I love that stuff!
